Position purpose
Student volunteer attending Assemblies of God Youth Conventions across the Midwest to represent NCU.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Travel to and from conventions with a small team of other students and engage with prospective students, pastors, and leaders about NCU programs and opportunities
- Driving an NCU Van (If eligible)
- Setting up an NCU promotional booth
- Knowledge of NCU programs and opportunities
- Managing an NCU credit card
- Overseeing fellow students and managing communication with admissions (one person selected for each trip to carry out this responsibility)
- Short stage presentation about NCU
Required qualifications/skills
- Currently enrolled student at NCU (excludes PSEO)
- Friendly personality
- Responsible
- Van Eligible (preferred)
- Be able to attend one of two training sessions
Additional comments
- Only one student from each team is compensated as they are designated as the team lead. All other students do this job as a volunteer
- Additional Class and Chapel skips are not awarded for traveling for NCU
- Hiring timeline: applications are accepted through the first month of school starting and students are notified about team selections via email at the end of September/beginning of October
- Hours/week: typically a Thursday through Sunday
- Time: varies (October 15 to November 9)
