Position Purpose
The Associate Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing North Central University’s digital marketing strategies to enhance enrollment and retention ePorts. This role involves overseeing the university’s website, digital content, email campaigns, and social media presence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing plans to achieve enrollment and retention goals.
- Oversee the university’s website, ensuring content accuracy, relevance, and adherence to ADA web compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement inbound marketing strategies, focusing on content marketing, blog management, and utilization of Pardot tools.
- Lead Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) ePorts, optimizing Google and social media ads, landing pages, and conversion rates.
- Analyze and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives, including website traPic, engagement metrics, and ROI.
- Utilize data analytics tools to assess the performance of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization based on data insights.
- Conduct CMS user training sessions and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, particularly in the higher education sector.
- Oversees social media interns, and all social media strategy and execution including but not limited to
- Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall digital marketing objectives and university goals.
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and opportunities to engage with the audience.
- Implement strategies to increase followers, engagement, and reach through organic and paid methods.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce visually appealing and compelling social media assets.
- Analyze social media performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates to assess ePectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to optimize strategy and execution.
- Respond promptly to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms to maintain a positive brand image and foster community engagement.
- Coordinate social media ePorts with other marketing initiatives and campaigns to ensure consistent messaging and integrated communication.
- Develop keyword-driven blog posts and content oPers on a weekly basis to support digital marketing objectives.
- Craft compelling email communications and manage workflows within Pardot.
- Provide writing support for various marketing and communication materials as needed.
- Directly oversee a student worker/intern(s) and coordinate with them to create engaging paid and organic social media content aligned with the overall content strategy.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Education and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing, with expertise in WordPress, SEO, and ADA web compliance.
- Proficiency in inbound and content marketing strategies, as well as experience with Pardot or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and Twitter Ads Manager.
- Ability to work remotely and flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and leading crossdepartmental teams.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proficient in Facebook Ads Manager, WordPress, and various social media platforms.
- In-depth understanding of marketing channel functions, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Commitment to the mission and vision of North Central University as an Assemblies of God Institution, with knowledge of the Christian higher education market.
- Ability to motivate and encourage team members to achieve digital marketing goals.

- Daily exposure to repetitive motions of the fingers, hands and wrists.
- Hybrid working model – Opportunity to work remotely Mondays and Friday, and in-person Tuesday-Thursday most weeks.
- Regular monitoring of social media channels for engagement and feedback.

- Use of a PC approximately 95% of the workday
