Give Day provides alumni a chance to show support for North Central and current students by funding a special project.
Funds raised during the Give Day campaign will be used to renovate the “Carlson Corridor,” a space in Carlson Hall that houses the deli, table seating, recreational area (pool, foosball, and ping pong), and serves as the primary passageway and route via the skyway from the College Life Center to the Cafeteria.
“The first major renovation of the space took place nearly 20 years ago,” said Trent Redmann ’93, Director of Development and Give Day chair. “Students today use study and gathering spaces differently and we’re excited about equipping the space with more outlets, device-charging stations, and up-to-date furnishings.”
Last year’s successful campaign raised more than $38,000 and helped underwrite the renovation of Clay Commons. This year’s goal is being generously supported through $20,000 in matching funds, and a church partner will add $10,000 to the pool once 150 individual gifts of any size are received!
Tune in to all NCU social media channels and follow #NCUGiveDay on Thursday, March 21, to follow Give Day progress, and learn about the opportunity to double or triple your gift.
