Light blue background with white text about Give Day 2020

For the NCU community

Students:

  • That blowing winds of difficulty from all directions will cause the roots of their faith to grow deeply, and that the effect would be felt for generations (Colossians 2:7)
  • That they will finish the year academically strong, and that they will discover creative ways to accomplish what needs to be done (Zechariah 4:6)
  • That they would have wisdom and supernatural insight to know what to do and how to do it; that they would know what not to do as they spend their days (Isaiah 61:3)
  • That they find God providing for ALL their needs: financial, relational, spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional (Philippians 4:6-7)
  • That God banish fear, anxiety, and every enemy purpose far from them (2 Timothy 1:7)
  • That they would be confident that their futures are in God’s capable hands (Psalm 139:13-18)

Faculty & staff

  • That God will strengthen and encourage them in the power of the Holy Spirit as they learn new ways to teach and interact with students from a distance (Ephesians 6:10)
  • That they will have divine insight as to how to come alongside students and others in the NCU community in ways that may not have been needed before (John 14:26)
  • That God will give them wisdom and creativity to teach and work from home, and for many – alongside interactions with their own children throughout the day (Zechariah 4:6)
  • That the Senior Leadership Team will have the “mind of Christ” as they make decisions that impact NCU (1 Corinthians 2:12-16)

Alumni & friends

  • That God will grant grace to those who are ill or struggling right now, and that His supernatural touch and strength would be theirs in Jesus’ name (Isaiah 53:5-6 & Jeremiah 17:14)
  • That God will bless businesses and ministries and every godly pursuit, and that He will provide for them in every way during these difficult days (Philippians 4:6-7)
  • That all would be drawn to the heart of the Father, closer and closer (James 4:8)

NCU community in general

  • That God will surround and uphold each member of the NCU community with protection, health, strength, and healing wherever it is needed (Psalm 3:3-4)
  • That we would seek God during these days as never before, and find Him close (Isaiah 55:6-7)
  • That God will bless and provide for individuals and families in every way (Zechariah 4:6)
  • That God will help each of us in our loneliness and in interpersonal relationships during shelter at home; that we will all make extra-efforts, so that our families will grow together during these days, and not apart (Psalm 68:6)
  • That technology would be Divinely protected so all that is needed can be accomplished (Zechariah 4:6)
  • That those who give of themselves (time, talent, treasure) would find God’s blessing overflowing back to them (Luke 6:38)
