The time is quickly approaching when you’ll bring your student to North Central! The NCU Student Development team is thoughtfully and prayerfully planning for your student’s first week on campus!
New Student Orientation begins on Monday, January 7, 2019. Welcome Week is designed to familiarize your student with the campus, connect him or her with resources, and help begin the process of building relationships with peers and professors. Our goal is to see new students integrated into campus life as quickly and smoothly as possible and to fully engage with all that NCU has to offer.
Because this is a transition time for families, too, all Monday sessions parents are encouraged to attend. Each year we hear from parents that these orientation activities are beneficial, and I know your son or daughter will appreciate the effort you make to be a part of this important event, too. Check out the complete Welcome Week schedule.
If you have any specific questions before you arrive on campus, please don’t hesitate to call our office at 612.343.4451 or email us at email@example.com.

What is Family Orientation?
Family Orientation is an opportunity for the families of incoming North Central students to learn about the community at North Central and interact with staff and administrators. There are several departments represented for parents, discussing topics ranging from what life in the Residence Halls is like, how the Student Success Center can benefit your child, the ins and outs of navigating the college years, and much more. Please plan on joining us for this exciting time.
