Homecoming 2016 Recap

North Central University hosted it’s Second Annual Homecoming—The Great NCU Get Together on October 14-15. Long-time alumni joined current students, faculty, and staff for the opportunity to experience Friday morning chapel once again, and guests were able to attend academic open houses shortly after, catching up with their favorite faculty members.

The Rams volleyball team packed out the gym on Friday evening, taking home back-to-back homecoming victories, one over Mount Mary and the other over Finlandia.

NCU’s Got Talent welcomed back alumni to battle the students in their annual event hosted by the Student Activities Committee (SAC). Brother and sister alumni Vinnie and Gina Zarletti took home the victory with their stunning rendition of a “Hello” medley. NCU’s Got Talent was followed by a class reunion for all former students.

Saturday’s festivities began with a men’s soccer victory over Northland. Food trucks kept fans entertained in between the men’s and women’s games, including alumni vendor Misfit Coffee.

The weekend was wrapped up by The Social on Saturday night, held in the Clark-Danielson Gymnasium. More alumni food vendors hosted free snacks for everyone to savor, as kids were busy playing in the kiddie corner, people were posing for a photo opp at the photo booth! President Gordon Anderson and his wife were some of the last to leave the festivities, as alumni connected with them before the Great NCU Get Together came to a close.
