New Master of Arts in Biblical Theology now enrolling for 2021

The North Central University College of Graduate and Professional Education is pleased to announce enrollment is now open for the new the Online Master of Arts in Biblical Theology (MABT) for fall 2021. The MABT has been approved by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is the newest addition to North Central’s graduate studies offerings.

According to LaToya Burrell, Dean of Graduate Education and Accreditation, the MABT is designed for ministers and laypersons who want to improve their academic understanding of Scripture for personal fulfillment, increased effectiveness in vocational ministry, or as a preparation for doctoral study.

Upon completing this program, graduates will be able to analyze, interpret, and explain the meaning of Scripture; engage major themes within biblical scholarship from a Pentecostal/Renewalist perspective; conduct meaningful academic research in biblical studies; and produce an academic thesis that makes a distinctive contribution and follows the conventions of biblical scholarship.

The MABT is a 36-credit degree offered in an engaging online format and is ideal for working adults. The program can be completed in two to three years, depending on the number of courses taken per semester.

North Central University’s Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership (MASL) degree was accredited in 2014 and since then has seen steady growth and has program graduates from around the world. The MASL is offered in either in-person or online formats.
