A SENTIMENT re: Roe vs Wade Reversal

Yesterday was a victory for life.
However, yesterday is just the beginning of a greater call that follows this decision.
Believers… Today isn’t the time to shout your victory in anger at those who believe differently than you.
This isn’t about a political party.
Today is the day to start loving more.
Love the women who find themselves in a situation where they don’t know where to turn.
Love the women who have chosen abortion in the past.
Love the children who are motherless and fatherless.
Support adoption.
In fact, consider adopting.
Support the foster care system.
Support single moms who are struggling to make ends meet because they are raising children they refused to abort.
This is not the end of a battle, but a time to shift gears and put our money, actions, and love where our words have been for so long.
Now is the time where we can fuel the hate that is so evident between different groups of people in our nation, or it’s a day where we can focus on what matters.
The children. The women. The lives.
A Call to Action
Please consider this a time to begin researching and acting on how you can give, offer support, and show Christ’s love.

The Assemblies of God established the AG Foster Care Network to bring together many existing AG ministries to foster families.
COMPACT Family Services provides resources, services, and training to both individuals and churches on the issues of foster care, adoption, single-parenting, women facing unplanned pregnancies, and other issues related to the restoration of the family.
The AG ministry Backyard Orphans has a dozen team members involved in training church leaders about caring for children who need healing homes.
