Career & Life Calling

We are all called to one purpose; but are all unique and individually valuable to the overall goal that is outlined in God's Word. Being willing to explore and understand oneself and the vast array of ministry opportunities available is the first step in understanding one's natural spiritual frequency.

Life Calling & Career Counseling

Career Development counseling is available to all NCU students and alumni to assist them in developing the skills and resources needed to obtain employment. Services include one-on-one counseling with a professional counselor, academic advising and direction, administration of career inventories & computer programs, assistance with resume writing & interviewing skills, and exploring options available in the work force. The SSC is not a placement office; individual departments oversee the placement of their graduates and job candidates.

Counseling is the process of having a trained person listen to your concerns and offer feedback and support. If you feel stuck, confused, worried or even just frustrated with a problem, counseling could help. The counselors at North Central University are here for the students and are used to a wide range of concerns.

All counselors in the counseling center are academically trained and experienced in counseling, and are Christians upholding Biblical standards in their practice. An intake appointment with a counselor can be confidentially scheduled by calling extension 5000, or on a walk-in basis. Scheduling an appointment.
