Admitted Students
Congratulations, you’re a future NCU Ram!
Next Steps for Admitted Students
We can’t wait for you to join our tight-knit community of committed, passionate Christ-followers. Our faculty, staff, and students are eager to welcome you and be part of your time at North Central University as a servant leader and scholar.
Take the following steps to save your spot and prepare for your move to our downtown Minneapolis campus.
Step 1: Submit your FAFSA
Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online as soon as possible. Paper applications are available to print. If you have any questions about your FAFSA application, contact student services. North Central University’s FAFSA school code is 002369.

Step 2: Pay Enrollment Deposit
The enrollment deposit unlocks housing and class registration and secures your space at North Central! Pay your enrollment deposit by navigating to your application portal. This is the same place where you originally applied.
Step 3: Apply for Housing
Once you’re accepted, you’ll need to tell us your plans for housing during the semester. All campus housing options are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please let us know whether you are applying to live in the residence halls, campus apartments, or off-campus as a commuter.
If you plan to live on campus, we recommend that you apply for housing quickly once you’re accepted. For tips on what to pack for dorm life, download our residence hall checklist.
You’ll need your student username and password in order to apply for housing. This information is included on your acceptance letter, the same credentials you use for Skyline. If you lose or forget your login info, feel free to contact your Admissions Counselor.
Set Up Your Meal Plan
If you will be living in a residence hall on campus, you need to set up your meal plan as well. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are Monday through Friday. Brunch and dinner are served on Saturday and Sunday.
Meal plan options:
- 18 meals per week – $2,270 per semester
- 14 meals per week – $2,190 per semester
*Meal plan costs are subject to change. Please check with your admissions counselor for the most up-to-date pricing.
Step 4: View Your Course Registration
For your first semester at NCU, a registration advisor from the One Stop office will create your class schedule.
If you’re interested in getting a jump-start on your four-year course plan, log in to Skyline and visit the “Colleague Corner” on the homepage.
- If you have completed your deposit before April 1, you qualify for priority registration in early April.
- If you complete your deposit after April 1, you will be registered for classes later in April.
Please check your student email for any important communication from the One Stop office regarding class registration. *For important academic dates, download our academic calendar.
Step 5: Register for Summer Orientation
Summer orientation is required for all new students. Attend orientation on June 13 to complete items that will prepare you for move-in day in August. Register for your summer orientation by June 1.
Step 6: Create Your Financial Plan by June
Your billing statement will be sent to you in early June. This is a great time to put together a financial plan for how you will pay your student bill in your first year and until you graduate. Payment of your student bill is due August 15.
If you have any questions, call your admissions counselor at 800-289-6222 or 612-343-4460 and they will be happy to help.
Step 7: Apply for Parking (Optional)
Parking permits are given on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, if you plan on bringing a car to campus, please take care of this as early as possible. You can view our parking guide for more information and apply for parking online.
- Student resident on-campus parking, available for $335/semester.
- Student resident Lot K only, available for $200/semester.
- Student non-resident commuter/PSEO parking, available for $100/semester.
- Student motorcycle parking, available for $175/semester.
- Bicycle parking, available for purchase in the security office for $15/school year. All bikes must have a bike lock.
- Student resident Minneapolis street parking, available for $25 for an August to August permit (issued by the City of Minneapolis, moderated by NCU).
Step 8: Submit Your Final High School Transcript by July 1
After you have graduated from high school, you must send NCU your official high school transcript. It must include your final grades and graduation date.
*Talk to your high school counselor about having an official transcript sent to NCU, or use our official transcript request form.
Step 9: Submit Your Completed Health Form
Minnesota Law (M.S. 135A.14) requires proof that all students born after 1956 are vaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus, measles, mumps, and rubella.
The health form (pdf) must be completed and signed prior to beginning your first semester at NCU. Completing the form is simple, starting with writing your name at the top.
- Fill out Part One if you graduated from a Minnesota high school.
- Fill out Part Two if you are transferring from another Minnesota college.
- Fill out Part Three if you graduated from high school in a state other than MN.
There is no need for a doctor’s signature unless you intend to file a medical exemption. Once you have finished, bring your form to your summer orientation day.
Step 10: Get Ready for Welcome Week!
Welcome Week is the official start to your life at North Central University. We’ll welcome you to campus, help you get settled, and introduce you to our community. We can’t wait to see you!
