Summer Orientation
We can’t wait to show you around our campus!
Get Ready for Life at NCU
Congratulations! You’ve been accepted to North Central University. Now you’re ready to finish your registration process at our annual mandatory summer orientation.
During summer orientation, you can connect with future peers, learn important NCU information, and cross several registration details off your to-do list. All incoming students will participate in this event on June 13. Additionally, we are offering some sessions specifically for parents and guardians of NCU students.
Here are a few of the things that will be part of summer orientation:
- Get answers to your class registration questions, and more
- Preview the residence halls
- Connect with other incoming students
- Discuss financial aid and awards and apply for loans
- Meet with your admissions/financial counselor

FAQs
What should I bring to summer orientation?
Summer orientation is a full day of activities and information sessions. Wear comfortable clothing that makes you feel ready to meet new people and explore your next chapter as a young adult. We also recommend bringing something you can take notes with, such as a notebook or tablet, as well as sunscreen and mosquito repellent (if you’re prone to bites) for when we’re outside. And most importantly, bring your curiosity and questions!
Can my parents come with me to summer orientation?
Yes! Parents and guardians are welcome to attend summer orientation. There are some activities specifically planned to include parents and guardians, as well as some opportunities for you to each socialize with your peer groups. Plan your visit at nearby hotels offering NCU discounts, area restaurants, and more!
What if I can’t come to summer orientation?
We strongly encourage all new students to prioritize attending mandatory summer orientation. If you are not able to attend, please contact Admissions.
