The Bachelor of Science in Marketing at North Central University provides students with valuable hands-on experiential learning so you’re prepared for a successful marketing career in a variety of businesses. In this program, you’ll work with real clients, develop real marketing initiatives, and solve real problems.
Unlike at most universities, students in the marketing degree program at NCU start working with business clients well before graduation. As an undergraduate, you’ll address real-world business challenges even as a freshman. In the process, gain the relevant skills and experience that employers seek, such as public relations, advertising, product management, and social media marketing.

All business majors (including marketing) take a project management course and have the option of completing a proficiency exam to earn your Project Management Certification.
Career Outcomes
The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects strong consistent growth (6%) in demand for marketing managers and other advertising and promotional roles. These positions generally require a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related degree combined with experience.1 At NCU, 98.8% of students who graduated in 2020 and 2021 were employed within six months (except for graduates pursuing further education, entrepreneurship, and missions).

What kinds of jobs can I get with a bachelor’s degree in marketing?
The marketing program at NCU is a well-rounded business program with deep focus and experiential learning in multiple facets of marketing, like communication, data analysis, project management, social media, and search engine optimization (SEO). This will help you build a foundation for positions such as marketing manager, SEO specialist, social media coordinator, or marketing project manager.
Does the marketing major require an internship?
An internship is not required, but students enrolled in the marketing degree program at NCU have the option of earning credit for an internship OR completing a senior project with a real business before graduation. Internships in the Twin Cities provide hands-on training at a wide range of organizations, from small businesses and churches to national nonprofits and Fortune 500 corporations. Our experienced faculty can help guide you in finding and applying for internship opportunities.
How does NCU integrate faith with marketing?
