Why Study Social Work at NCU?
Social work as a vocation and academic program combines evidence-based practices, scientific research methods, and human empathy and experience. Our program trains students to emulate Jesus’s example of challenging structures and values that may oppress, marginalize, alienate, or create or enhance privilege and power.
Our faculty understand that social work callings and careers are as varied as the people who pursue them, because they’ve experienced it. You’ll build professional competencies and learn how to navigate real-world challenges with supportive faculty mentors in small, collaborative classes. Graduate rooted in faith and ready to make a meaningful impact with a strong network of support.
