Dates and Deadlines
Mark your calendar with these Admissions dates and deadlines. Incoming undergraduates and transfer students can enter only in the fall or spring semesters. New students are not eligible for starting during the summer term.

- Priority 1 Deadline: November 1
- Priority 2 Deadline: March 1
- Standard Deadline: May 1
Note: Applications are still accepted after the deadline. Submitting an application by a priority deadline allows students to learn about admission outcomes earlier than the standard application and notification dates. Students have until June 1 to notify North Central University of their intent to attend.
Spring Term Application Deadlines

- Priority Deadline: September 15
- Standard Deadline: December 1

Is North Central University accredited?
Yes. NCU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Some of our individual programs are also accredited by leading authorities in their fields.
Does North Central University provide financial aid?
Yes! North Central provides financial aid to all of its residential undergraduate students! Students may also apply for federal assistance through FAFSA.
Can I transfer my credits from a different college or university?
Yes, we welcome transfer students to apply! Our team can help you assess your transferable credits and connect you with relevant programs to pursue your purpose.
Is Downtown Minneapolis safe?
Downtown Minneapolis, where NCU maintains a beautiful 12.5 acre campus, is much like other major cities. We know from research data that major cities often experience drastic disparities, which can influence our decisions and lead to harmful behaviors. That said, NCU has a full-time team protecting our community’s safety and security, and we have built trusting relationships and partnerships surrounding our downtown location.
