Position Purpose

Position Purpose

The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences is seeking an instructor for a face-to-face introductory sociology course (Introduction to Sociology) during the Spring 2022 semester. This is an on-campus, in-person course offered Tuesdays and Fridays from 12:00-1:10 pm. The course runs January 10 to April 29, 2022.

Job qualifications

  • An earned Master’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Committed to Biblical integration in and out of the classroom.

Working conditions and frequency

Dates and times

Tuesdays and Fridays, noon to 1:10 pm, January 10 to April 29, 2022.

Equipment and Tools

Use of a PC, telephone, and email.

  • Work is performed in a Christ-centered urban environment.
