Returning Student Check-in

We’re excited to welcome returning students back for another year at NCU! Returning students should plan to return to campus and check in on Monday, August 26, or Tuesday, August 27. Returning students are welcome to join in Welcome Week activities like Funky Night (August 26) and the annual Block Party (August 27)!

All returning students should plan to arrive August 26 or August 27, unless they are a part of an approved, early returning student group, such as a fall athletics team or student leadership. Approved early returners will receive separate check-in information and schedules. Contact your coach or Housing with questions.

STUDENT FAQS

How do I check in as a returning student?

Visit the One Stop office between 9 am and 3 pm on Monday, August 28, or Tuesday, August 29. If you are a part of an early returning student group, confirm with your coach or advisor if and when you are approved to arrive.

Can I move in early?

All returning students may move into their housing assignment on Monday, August 26, or Tuesday, August 27, 2024. If you are involved in athletics or another co-curricular activity that requires you to be on campus before this date, you will be contacted by the appropriate department for those arrangements. If you would like to request an exception, contact our Housing team at housing@northcentral.edu.

Can I move in late?

If you arrive on campus after 4 pm on August 26 or August 27, call the RA on duty for your living area to check in to your campus housing. Then, visit the One Stop the next day to officially check-in – you may not begin classes until you fully check in.

How can I find my roommate information?

You can view roommate information on eRezLife.

When should commuter students arrive?

All commuter students should still plan to check-in on August 28 or August 29, and they are welcome to participate in campus events like Funky Night and the Block Party.

Other questions?

If you have any specific questions before you arrive on campus, please don’t hesitate to contact our One Stop team at onestop@northcentral.edu or at 612.343.5030.
