Get real world experience while studying for a Social Work degree
The College of Arts and Sciences is the stepping stone to your future, we refine your talent and take you to the next level. We are unified around the central theme of preparing people to be leaders in the marketplace, ministers in the world, and servants in the varied contexts of life.
Because we do what we do with active learning, our graduates are getting a ton more experience early on. This leads to greater internship opportunities, and ultimately greater career choices. Due to our smaller campus size, every student is seen (not lost in a crowd) and provided the chance to make awesome connections.
Every professor brings to the classroom exceptional social work experience. In addition to having wildly successful careers prior to teaching, our social work professors are still actively engaged in the real world as consultants or social workers. This makes a huge difference in what is taught in North Central University social work classrooms.
Our courses are taught from a Christian perspective.
Our unique location provides a wide variety of service opportunities.
You’ll have opportunities to intern with community programs and service groups.

The professors and community have fostered immense spiritual growth along with great opportunities to put my social work skills into practice.
