About:

Pamela discovered her faith in the Lord at a young age, growing up under the guidance of a single mother who served as a pastor. In this environment, they learned to place their trust in God to provide for their needs. This early experience ignited Pamela’s passion for assisting marginalized and at-risk individuals.

Her enthusiasm lies in connecting with students and nurturing their strengths. Pamela takes a supportive approach to her students, viewing every interaction as an opportunity for growth and learning. She actively engages with her students both inside and outside the classroom, offering check-ins and creating a secure environment complete with snacks and LEGO blocks.

Pamela has been happily married to her husband, Nick, for 11 years. Together, they have four children and find joy in serving within kids’ ministry. For five years, they served as licensed foster parents, opening their hearts and home to seven children. Pamela’s areas of expertise encompass youth development, child welfare, trauma and trauma-informed care, the ethical integration of faith and practice, and congregational social work.

In addition to her clinical experiences, Beth served as a youth pastor at an Assemblies of God church for about 10 years. She is excited to be back in Minneapolis and feels privileged to have the opportunity to share her passion for social work with the students at NCU.
