Research and teaching experience
Dr. Nho’s main research interests include understanding the underlying mechanisms of lung fibrosis and develop an effective treatment using novel nanocarriers. His research was supported by the National Institute of Health, American Heart Association, American Lung Association. University of Minnesota Foundation, Center for Lung Science and Health grants. His research was also covered in several media outlets including American Association for the Advancement of Science, Digital Journal, Sante Log (France) and MedicalXpress. He has mentored many students, postdocs and fellows over the years and taught health science-related courses including environmental sciences, biology, pathophysiology and human diseases.
